Prime AAA 11u Baseball Pin Spotlight

The Prime AAA 11U Baseball Trading Pin is one of our favorite recent baseball trading pin projects. The team came to us looking for a custom hinge pin featuring a locker door that could swing open and closed. While hinge pins can create a great interactive effect, they can also become heavy and expensive, especially when produced using traditional methods.

To achieve the look they wanted while keeping the design practical and cost-effective, we recommended a newer process: Zinc Alloy with UV Print. This combination allowed us to create additional depth, dimensional features, and realistic detail that would be difficult to achieve with a traditional die struck soft enamel pin.

Prime trusted our recommendation, and the results exceeded expectations. The finished pin showcases the strengths of Zinc Alloy with UV Print, combining vibrant graphics with sculpted details that add real depth and character to the design. Unlike a traditional flat printed pin, you can actually feel the raised and recessed areas as you run your finger across the surface. The dimensional effect is even more pronounced than what is typically found on the die struck soft enamel pins that are so popular with youth baseball teams and leagues. The textured locker-door effect gives the pin a more realistic appearance and creates a premium look that helps it stand out from the crowd.
